Connect with Your Communities: Amplifying Staff Voices for Engaging Content

Hear how Chicago Public Library staff come together to create readers advisory web content that reflects the 77 community areas we serve. By inviting all staff—from pages to directors—to contribute to readers advisory and blogging, CPL’s website features a range of staff voices, interests and experiences. Three standout CPL bloggers—all public services staff—share why they blog and offer tips for bloggers to increase engagement with patrons; our web administrator discusses training and editorial planning for 70+ bloggers, and our Content Curation manager shares how this inclusion drives the library’s readers advisory efforts.
