It Never Hurts to Ask: Requesting Funding for Large Technology Projects
In 2020, KCLS was in a much better position to provide Curbside service through myLIBRO thanks to a 2019 LRYASIS grant. BiblioCommons is currently planning for new development work that's been generously funded by the KCLS Foundation. The Seattle Public Library used a Google grant to start a hotspot program, then grew that program through City and Foundation funding. Join us for a conversation about these projects, with special guest Cindy Sharek to provide the perspective of a Foundation reviewing requests.
Speakers:
Angela Nolet, Librarian, King County Library System
Kate Sellers, Technical Services Manager, Seattle Public Library
Dr. Catrin Watts, Community Engagement Specialist, King County Library System Foundation
