### In a recent webinar, “Not Everything Can Go On the Homepage,” we learned the importance of setting the proper foundation when designing a homepage.

In this second installment of the webinar series, we’ll look at why it’s crucial that your main navigation and footer act as a roadmap for your users. Your navigation can lead users to the content they want and encourage visitors to browse it.

Well-planned navigation also saves users time (and prevents headaches) by highlighting the top information on your site.

In this webinar panel, you’ll hear from three libraries about the following topics:

- Developing a main navigation and footer as part of a website refresh
- Best practices around highlighting library services and library goals in your main navigation
- How to evaluate your existing main navigation to make improvements
- Why designing thoughtful navigation is a critical part of your homepage strategy
